I got sick last night, eating something my new super medicine didn’t like, and I paid for it. I was up all night, but things settled down a bit. I’m pretty tired, so I’ll do some quick posting and return to ped. I have an intense week ahead of me and must feel rested. My fall in front of the dentist’s office didn’t help. Big story is one the way, mainly wind and heavy rains for us, it killed a lot of people in the South.
The Wind – 1 – I took a short video to capture the feeling as the wind came up.
Maria and Zip and I sat in the chair. It was a bit lonely, and most animals hid in the barn. They know when a Storm is coming. It was hauntingly beautiful.
Maria saw some wool hanging from a limb in the apple tree. She couldn’t resist catching it before it blew away. She got it.
Sheep all alone. We rarely see sheep along, but the wind was so loud and intense that only one came out. She knew what was coming.
Even Zip, who fears nothing, was rattled by the noise and force of the wind. He came over to sit between my legs and found shelter.
Zip’s ears and the way he positioned himself, tell the story. Great photos…. may the farm be safe through the storm. The winds are kicking up the water here on the Cape. Glad you are feeling better. ❤️
Love your posts and books. And ofcourse your photos! Zip is the best
