Today’s request is for dental cream and cleansing ablets. See below.
In case any of you are wondering why we keep buying the same items over and over again, here’s why:
Over the past few days, the Army of Good has sent a truckload of dog and cat food (see above). Sarah says it will be gone within a week. Guests can take three cat food cans and three dog food items weekly. The pantry serves about 600 families a month.
The pantry provides enough food for 3,825 meals each week, with 425 receiving enough for nine meals.
The pantry has little storage space, so we repeatedly send the same items, especially food for children and the most requested items. The food is loved and used.
Sarah just got a grant for a storage annex, but it will take a while to build. They hope they can rely on us for help. I believe they can, and they already are (thanks). Food prices are already rocketing up again. The regional food bank is trying to serve more and more people, so their supplies are getting used up more quickly.
The food pantry requested adhesive cream and mouth cleansing tablets today. We hope to fill the dental health shelf.
Sarah’s two items for today, Saturday, are Help For The Elderly. No one should have to sacrifice dental health for food.
Polident Overnight Whinening Antibacterial Dental Appliance Cleansing Tablets, 60 Count, $4.49.
Super Poligrip Zinc Free Denture and Partials Adhesive Cream, 2.4 ounces (Pack of 4), $16.94.

The newest trend in the Army of Good Pantry Support is people browsing the Amazon Pantry Support Wish List and making their own choices—often in a large box or two. This is great for the pantry families and feels good in times of stress and confusion. We thank you.
You can access the list through the links here or by clicking the green button at the bottom of every blog post.
I hope you feel good about yourselves. You are blessed angels to me and many others. You have helped feed the pantry members and significantly boosted their morale. Please keep sending appreciation messages to the pantry volunteers. It matters.
