Update, Day 2, Staycation: Great Fun. Big Cold Coming

by Jon Katz

The first day of our staycation went beautifully. We visited a museum in Albany, found an excellent Thai restaurant, and came home to read quietly. Today will be more of the same. I’ve got to go out and buy a new office chair; mine is no longer willing to move, roll, or sit up straight.

I’ve tossed in a flower for those in need. Please don’t take a look at the news. It’s healthier that way.

    1. Janine, thank you for your message. I’m afraid you’re not paying attention. The amount of time I’m spending on the blog lately has changed radically and will change to change more in the coming weeks. I love the photos I take and the words that I wrote. It’s not work for me, but I do need to take some time off and have been doing so especially on weekends. Maria also. I never quite understand why people tell me what I am feeling. It’s hardly ever true.

  1. Did you go to the Albany Institute of History and Art?
We usually can’t find a parking spot, how did you make out?

    1. It was nice; I can’t advise you on parking. We enjoyed the museum, especially the exhibit on Americans who tell the truth, a favorite subject of mine.
