I’m taking the weekend off, but the Pantry Requests continue on my blog. I don’t think I could take three days off from that.

Hunger doesn’t get to rest, I’ve learned that. Today, here is a repeat of yesterday’s request for chicken pot pie soup and chicken fried rice and the urgent request for coffee. The pantry hopes to be able to stock some of these very popular items, designed for the next cold wave coming Sunday and Monday. Thanks for your support.

Thanks to Carol from Lockport, Ill., who sent a big box of kitchen supplies for the kitchen shelf. “I heard you were stocking up on kitchen items, so I hit up some $ stores. I hope these help! “Thank for all you do,” Carol.

Thank you, Carol. People have sent single boxes of diapers, dog and cat food, and dental items. Even a handful of items in a box helps the pantry greatly, and thanks much.
