There’s no way I’m going outside today. Beauty is everywhere if you learn to look. Bathrobe or not, it’s not safe for me.  Ice, rain, snow, and cold are all over the farm, and I’d done enough falling this week. I’m slow to learn my lessons and stubborn, but losing and breaking my camera is a lesson that stuck.

But this doesn’t mean I can’t find something beautiful and meaningful to photograph. I still have my iPhone 15 Max, which has an excellent camera, and they even make movies with it. I would skip the bird watching; the window is covered with ice and raindrops. Then I woke up and realized this was as beautiful as bird photos on a typical day. I love this photo of a bird at the feeder; it says more than words. Beauty is where you find it. Photography has helped me to see the world.

I loved finding these beautiful images on what I once would have called a miserable day.
