It’s incredible how Zip has taken over the farm, occupying every corner and checking out every new thing. In the cold, we see his cleverness and ingenuity. He loves sleeping in the woodshed, even in the worst cold. When it’s below zero in the morning, he sometimes goes into the heated cat house, sleeps, and peers out. He has a wondrous ability to use the farm, the mark of a skilled barn cat. And he loves to post photos. Zip is just is fascinating; he surprises me every day and has made this his home – all of it and all of us. How lucky we are to have him and give him the life he deserves. I will nominate him for BarnCat of the Year if there is such an award.
