Cambridge Food Pantry Asking Again for Comford Food In The Winter. The Pantry’s Supplies Are Low, Says Sarah. Same As Yesterday.

by Jon Katz

Sarah asked for help getting her food-challenged families some hot, much-requested food for the frigid days and nights here: Clam Chowder, Chili Mac, Chicken, and Dumpling Soup. She appreciates the positive reaction.

We’re continuing that request today, Saturday, February 1; she says the supplies of those comforting foods are very low. We would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.  Freezing weather is predicted in the coming weeks.

Sarah said thanks for purchasing yesterday’s comfort food supplies, which were almost out.

Here are her requests for warm comfort foods. It’s been relentlessly cold here, and supplies are running out. These warm meals matter. They are popular and easy to make.

Campbell’s Chunky Soup, Creamy Chicken and Dumplings Soup, 18.8 Oz Can (Case of 12),$23.76,

Campbell’s Chunky Soup, Chili Mac, 16.3 Oz (Case of 8), $13.73.

Campbell’s New England Clam Chowder, 16.3 Oz Can (case of 8), $15.68.

Your messages to the volunteers at the Cambridge Food Pantry mean a lot.  You can send them to Amazon’s checkout page. They lift the heart and soul and are on a pantry wall so the volunteers can see them.
