We’ve been in the polar vortex since late Sunday night in NW Ohio. . Temps in single digits, then -0, -1,-2 etc. Windchill in scary range, – 15, -17 degrees, even though I prepared for it. Looking forward to the ‘warm-up’ later this week! My sister sent short video showing her backyard in Shalimar , Fla on Gulf (of Mexico) east of Pensacola. Snow, gusts of wind; sure looked cold! She & her husband are mid-westerners so they can deal with it. Take care there. So enjoy the Monday morning videos, pics of your lovely animals and flowers.
We live in Middle TN and have a low of 2 degrees predicted. It is very cold.
Hi – It’s cold in northern Illinois too. Currently -2 but feels like -12 with windchill factor. Will get colder tonight.

You don’t want to hear the last week’s low temperatures in Minneapolis, and I am not too interested in hearing the temps in northern Minnesota. I think we can agree on that.
I am concerned about a grandson who is an EMT in New Orleans. It’s not the temperatures they’re having. It’s the fact that they have no experience or training in driving in snow. THAT is SCAREY to think about!!
