Today is my gratitude day. It began with me looking out the bedroom window at sunrise and then, soon after, taking a photo of Bud lying in Maria’s lap, one of his favorite places in the world.
I’m grateful for many things, too many to list, but I’m thinking of Bud, who always seems thankful for his new home. Maria, my blog, pictures, writing, our farm, the animals, and Barb Cat. That is a lot for me to be grateful for in one sitting. I’ll try again later. I am a fortunate person.
I don’t believe in luck; we make our fortunes. However, I know when fate shines on me—Maria, Zip, Zinnia—and I remind myself daily how fortunate I am. I appreciate what I have, not what I lost.
Where did he come from? Out of nowhere. Thanks to the spirits.
Through the looking glass. I see the most beautiful skies through the bedroom window, frost and all—every morning.
The window picture look likes a child’s magical fairytale story picture.
That is a hauntingly beautiful photograph, Jon. Your eye sees the loveliest of moments.
Thank you for sharing.
