The crew at the Cambridge Pantry was alarmed. Truckloads of food were being delivered, and boxes lined the entrance. Sarah sounded the alarm, and we all came rushing over this morning. I took pictures, and Sarah and the volunteers unpacked and stored the food; the next serving will be later this week.
The Army of Good gave the food pantry family one of the best holidays ever. They had plenty of fresh, sound, and healthy food, as well as can openers and other kitchen utensils. They also had tampons, diapers, and salad dressing.
Sarah never loses focus or drops the ball. She was thrilled at the outpouring of support last and ready for the following items. She said she wanted me to thank you all. They are spellbound and pleased at the Food Pantry. You took a crisis and turned it into a triumph.
“It’s crazy here,” Sarah texted me when she got a call saying that even more food and items were waiting in the pantry. I came running, and so did several of her volunteers. The Albany food back truck is also on the way. I’m going back.
Thank you. These photos of Amazon boxes and items came last night or this morning. Sarah and the volunteers were pleased and appreciative. So am I.
