I’ve been terrified every moment of my life until a year ago. I have let fear keep me from doing countless things I have wanted all my life, but I have no hard feelings, complaints, or regrets. Life got me just where I always wanted to go. –  Did I deserve it? Not for me to say.   I won’t ever know the answer. But does it matter?

I do pledge this: I’ll live my life to the end.
