Today, a Christmas gift for the Pantry families: soap and shampoo. Simple and badly needed.
It’s a tough time to fundraise; I’ve learned this repeatedly. People are saving to buy gifts, travel, and meet with families. The Army of Good has been unyielding and faithful, but Sarah and I expect less support for the next few weeks and up to New Year’s. I understand.
But I will post every day right through the end of the year. To me, Christmas is about helping others.

However, I am committed to helping the pantry, and I will keep asking for help every day with the understanding that the response will dip for a couple of weeks, hopefully at most.
Alas, hunger doesn’t have a holiday. Please do what you can. You have been fantastic, and we have a powerful connection. Thanks for what you have done and for what you will do.
The shampoo and soap are essential to these families. Cleanliness is a precious Christmas present.
These are difficult weeks for the pantry and the families it serves. Please help if possible. Everything on the Cambridge Wish List is out or gone from the shelves. These kids need shampoo, and their parents need soap. Thanks for thinking about it.
