It’s been a couple of months since I got a photograph of the Bedlam Farm Morning Treats committee; I remembered to take a photo this morning with Treat Committee Bud, the leader of the committee – he always takes the lead – is eagerly awaiting for me when I come out of the shower, cold and dripping wet.

They have never missed a day or failed to get a treat.

As chairman, Bud is waiting for me. He goes up front,  barks enthusiastically, and focuses his big, round eyes on me. Bud means business and will not take no for an answer.

I walked quickly to the treats door, where he had not waited patiently, and took out three treats.

The first to Bud, the leader, the second to Fate, the most impatient, and the last to Zinnia, the most genial. So far, Bud has gotten his way every morning.

Yes, I am a sap (please don’t tell the animal rights people; they’ll be shattered, and I’ll lose a favored target.)
