At this time of year, Sarah works hard to provide warm, easy-to-cook dinners to families with little space, frequent hot places, and two or more jobs.
The struggle to keep up with the demand has been long-standing for the pantry members.
Today, the help Sarah is focused on is the belly and the chin. Hamburger Helper for dinner, Gillette shaving jell.

These items differ from those the food banks can provide or those the pantry, whose subsidies are constantly being cut and reduced, can afford to buy. They are often items the parents postpone or do without.
Sometimes, we can fill the gap, and that matters; it makes a difference, eases pressure, and significantly lifts morale.

Sarah’s meals are always made with foods that fill empty stomachs, are kid-friendly, and take minutes to prepare. She stresses vitamins and energy builders.
The holidays add stress to everything. Thanks for helping. These are not foods the pantry banks will send or that the pantry can afford to buy. They are the ones children and parents love.
The pantry has none of them on the shelves.
