Zinnia had never had much use for barn cats before; she avoided them and ran away if they got close. Zip and she have become best pals; they love to play with each other. Every morning, we go out to the pasture to take care of the sheep and donkeys, and Zip comes along now, and so does Zinnia. They have become great pals, touching noses and chasing each other.

Zip loves to ambush Zinnia and run back and forth with her. Fate even hangs out with them; Zip is working on her. Yesterday, Maria took this great video of Zup and Zinnia running up the hill together, playing tag. Could you come and see?

As a Barn Cat, Zip’s primary job is to keep rats and mice out of the barn and away from the farmhouse. He loves that work and is diligent about it. He is the friendliest and most charming creature and loves to play as much as he loves to kill. Could you come along and see it?
