When Maria showed me a photo of Suzy Fatzinger’s latest and last shawl of this season, the first word that came to mind was “dignity.” Maria thought it was fit for a goddess. I know what she means. She calls it an “Earth Shawl…”
Suzy’s shawls are unique and extraordinary. They are handmade, of course, from the wool of her goats. Suzy’s work is beautiful. She sold every shawl she showed us (Maria sold them on her Etsy Page).
This shawl, the last one available from Suzy until next Fall, costs $185 plus $15 shipping and is on sale. I’ll miss seeing them when Suzy is finished.
They are up now on Maria’s Etsy Page. I wonder if they will be there for long; they never are.
I love Suzy’s work so much that Maria brought me one of her shawls, which I love to put on when I’m reading in front of the Wood Stove in cold weather. I never thought they were meant for men, but I love mine (below). Her work is a treasure.
