Off to the food pantry to take some portraits of the volunteers. Going to Cindy’s farm this afternoon to take soap-making lessons for fun. Maria is coming with me. More later.
Feeding time, Maria sings her song.
Still, a few apples to hand out. Zip observes.
Zip loves the new hideout Maria built for him after we burned the other one.
Maria taking a video, animals all around her, as always.
Beautiful morning, landscape.
Zip stays cool while Fate comes zooming past him.
Hay in the morning now, the grass has dried up.
Bud goes after chickens and runs into the woods if we let him out, he has to stay inside the dog kennel. He doesn’t mind, there are plenty of mice and moles and squirrels to obsess on.
I just love the top picture of Maria with the donkey and sheep. Their expressions are priceless, especially the sheep’s. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photography with all of us older “country” folks who no longer have the privilege of living on a farm, despite growing up on one. I miss it so much, but get to re-live some of it through your wonderful pictures.
