We got up in time to catch the mist; the blue skies and sun followed shortly afterward.
Today is the day Maria goes to pick up her new car, and I’m driving her there. It’s incredible how even a tiny car incident can disrupt life for days, even weeks. We’re glad it’s over.
I skipped the news this weekend until yesterday.
My heart goes out to the many people whose lives were much more severely disrupted than ours throughout the Southeast. In addition to the other awful news – Lebanon – I did come across a video of Donald Trump calling Kamala Harris “mentally impaired.” I’m surprised he is reluctant to debate her again.
How sad. Apologies to the mentally ill; they deserve better.
