Beautiful Morning At Bedlam Farm, From Rain And Cold To Bright And Warm. Hay Time, Jacket Time. As Always, Beautiful

Zip and Zinnia – two besties – meet and touch noses every morning.

 

The geese have begun heading south, a beautiful sign of fall. It is a powerful sound for us. It is time to start preparing for winter.

 

We put hay out for the first time; the grass had dried up in the heat. We usually put hay out in November. Maria noticed that the sheep were grumpy; they came running when they saw the hay.

Maria, Asher, and Zinnia join in. Everybody is her friend; everybody is Zip’s friend.

 

It is always a treat to see Fate in motion. She won’t herd the sheep, but she loves to run.

Zip’s Castle was burned and then blown down. We’re on it.

 

Maria is rebuilding a safe house for Zip. He is fortunate

It’s great to have Maria as a human if you are Zip. He loves his hideaways. Every morning in November, he goes there to hide, but climate change changes everything.
