Maria’s wonderful Monday morning videos have become a popular ritual, she’s been taking these videos every Monday for nearly ten years on her blog, fullmoonfiberart.com. I’m happy to be putting them up here.
They set the tone for the day, and perhaps the week. They remind meand others of the beauty of a small farm.
I watched this video with the sound off the 1st time. in the silence I could hear the song created by movement, feel all the different textures, from the wool of the sheep to the branches of the apple tree. Maria’s hand grasping an apple which were then dropped or fed. each and every animals motion, coming close and further away, the different colors which lent even more texture, it wasn’t felt by me as an emotion but as tactile. overall it brought me a moment of being there as same as when engrossed in a book which through one has traveled to the place.
