Sarah is making history at the Cambridge Food Pantry thanks to volunteers, local farmers and donors, and the Army of Good.
Breaking the records of the Cambridge Food Pantry, we now have a more extended availability of food, not just for one or two days. The long-time favorite, Velveeta Cheese, is still on the shelves, and we have a good stock of Juice.
For the first time, 49 families came to the food pantry on a Saturday, and the pantry served 140 people. Every customer got what they needed and wanted for the first time in memory.
For the first time, only two kinds of coffee are on the list.
No one at the pantry can remember this happening before.
On today’s most wanted list. No rest for the good or the weary.

When something is removed from the list, it doesn’t mean the pantry doesn’t need it; it just means there are enough of some things to help with the other needed items, which are still needed.
