“…I can’t eat spaghetti; there’s too many of them. No matter how hungry I am, 1,000 of something is just too much. I’ll have 1,000 pieces of noodles.” — Mitch Hedberg

Today, Sarah asked me to try to get some salads and noodles. We’ve linked to three different kinds of noodles below—one of the easiest meals for hard-pressed pantry families. Everyone wants salad dressing all the time, so I posted both today. We have found inexpensive ways to buy both. When Sarah feels she has as many items as she needs for a week or so, she takes them off the list. She has limited space for storage. I hope some of you can take the time to message Kim and Kyle; they work so hard to handle the food we send and get it on the shelves.
Amazon offers every sender a space for a message.
Here are the three Ramen noodles she would like to receive, all on the Cambridge Food Pantry Wish List.
Maruchan Ramen Park, Instant Ramen Noodles, Ready To Eat Meats, 24 Count, $9.36.
Ramen shrimp, instant ramen noodles, ready-to-eat Meats, 3 Oz. 24 Count, $9.36.
Ramen Beef, Instant Ramen Noodles, Ready To Eat Meats, 3 Oz, 24 Count, $9.36.
Ramen is a great, easy-to-eat meal now that it’s getting colder. Both parents and children love it.

Sarah says Salad Dressings are also an Urgent need. She put five on the Wish List, all under $3. I decided to post noodles and salads together; it seemed like a natural fit, although I can’t say why. I would ask people to do what they comfortably can; I wouldn’t ask anyone to do more. The meager bargain prices call me to do more at once.
The cost is correct. For less than $10, we could buy all the salads on the list, which would stock some shelves quickly. I’m going for both salads and noodles; the prices are so low.
Kraft Ranch Salad Dressing (16 fl oz Bottle), $2.98.
Wish-Bone Light Thousand Island Salad Dressing, 15 floors, $2.50.
Kraft Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing (16 fl. oz Bottle by Kraft, $2.53.
Kraft Classic Teaser Salad Dressing, 16 fl oz Bottle, $2.98.
Cataline Salad Dressing, 16 tl oz, $2.98 (price dropped.)
Please feel free to browse the Cambridge Food Pantry Amazon Wish List. Everything on the list is needed, and it is constantly updated. I want to thank the Army of Good for its remarkable support of the Food Pantry Project, one of the high points of my life.
This is a reminder that you can browse the Wish List anytime, day or night. I go up at 4 a.m. to send off four salads for less than $9. Sarah is a whiz at finding low prices, and we are purchasing enough food now to get even lower rates. Thanks once again and again.
