Beautiful Day, Bedlam Farm. Accepting Life, Celebrating What I Have, Not Mourning What I Don’t Have

by Jon Katz

Every morning, they touch noses, and Zinnia offers a kiss.

Fate loves to stalk Zip (she doesn’t stalk sheep), but he completely ignores her. Poor Fate. She’s a wonderful dog, but she gets no respect.

Dirt Bath: the donkeys love to roll in dirt and ashes; it keeps insects away and helps scratch itches.

  1. Thank you so much for always sharing your beautiful and peaceful life with all of us. We all should be as lucky as you and Maria.

    1. Thanks, Debra; I appreciate the good thoughts. I always remind myself that what we have isn’t luck; I do not believe in luck much. We all make our destiny of we can. We have worked very hard to be here and stay here. I think love had much more to do with it than luck.

  2. I view Fate as the “Rodney Dangerfield” of dogs! Running circles around the sheep….. who totally ignore her!
