“I think it’s foolish for people to want to be happy. Happiness is momentary—you’re happy for an instant, and then you start thinking again. Interest is the most important thing in life; happiness is temporary, but interest is continuous.” — Georgia O’keffee.
I believe I have a right to be happy, but I see what she means. My interest is always there, but my happiness is not. See you in the morning. My eye surgery will be next Tuesday morning. I expect to blog as usual when I get home.
I am wishing you a lovely weekend, and a very successful cataract surgery. For my surgery, a year ago, it took longer to fill out the forms and consents than it took for my doctor to remove the cataract and implant a new lens. After I arrived home, I removed the protective eye cover as instructed and was so excited to notice how clear and vibrant my vision now was that I texted everyone I knew. Particularly stunning for me was how fabulous the colors were. I am hoping for you to have a similar wonderful outcome.
May you have a very sucessful cataract surgery Tuesday
Every day your flower art becomes more captivating because each flower has its own soul. They seem to smile right back at you. Thank you for your exceptional photos. I look forward to them each day.
Thanks Laura for your good words.
I will be most interested in the story of your surgery, as I will be facing my own cataract surgery in the new year. I sort of know what to expect, but want to hear various personal experiences.
Sending you good juju!
