It is beautiful here on the farm even when it isn’t. Zip and Fanny are getting to know one another. I’m happy to say that Fanny is 90 percent better this morning. Both hooves seem to be healing steadily and rapidly. That is a relief. I’m slowly making friends with some of the many birds around the farm. They are beginning to trust me and sit long enough to trust me and my camera. This morning, I’m heading to the Mansion for a Meditation Class. I’ve missed the last few weeks and am eager to return.
I’ll be writing about this this afternoon. I wanted to thank everyone for the extraordinary response to Sarah’s request for help this week since her primary supply truck can only make it on Thursday. We cleaned out the wish list in hours and are filling up those empty shelves.
Wednesday is her big day. Sarah cares, so she asked us for help, and we responded wonderfully. I’ll write about this later today, on Monday.
Today, Sarah is seeking the least expensive items yet—three kinds of crackers. I think we can help. They are Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers, $3.52, Happy Belly Honey Graham Crackers, $3,62and Happy Belly Snack Crackers, $2.69. I’ll post more later; I have to get to the Mansion.
We can do a lot of good for just a few dollars. Please help if you can, and thank you for all you have done.
Your photo of the little bird is incredible, as is the photo of the flowers. I love Fate’s contrasting eye colors (“when are we going to get the sheep?”), and of course, there’s Zip, who seems to be conveying, “I can’t be bothered.” Thanks for these; they start my day beautifully.
