26 July

Beautiful Morning, Bedlam Farm, Friday, July 26, 2024: Blackbirds, Manure To Spread, Plants To Water, Firewood To Stack, And Of Course Zip Is Everywhere…

by Jon Katz

I sat outside yesterday with my bird/nature lens. It takes patience, which is good for me. Thanks for sending boxes and boxes of diapers to the Cambridge Food Pantry. I’m going over there shortly to take a picture.

I’m doing a bit of political writing when I get back, it’s a perfect July day for a change. We will savor it.

Black  bird sitting on a fence.

Tending the dry vegetable garden.

Blackbirds up and moving.

The morning manure shove

Two more cords of firewood to be stacked. Maria is all in, and wants no help.

Zip is everywhere, hiding in the grass and gardens, slipping out into the open to say hello. He is having a blast.
