I guessed most of my blog readers would be distracted by the world’s greatest circus unfolding in Washington; it’s no surprise.

Few, if any, Army Of Good donations were made in the past couple of days, the smallest number since we started helping. I’m hoping we can get back to filling those shelves again; the circus continues and will go on and on.

The two items Sarah is seeking today are inexpensive: $1.98 and $4.00 four Four. This will be an easy way to get back on track and fill up some shelves with missing items. We can do a lot of good for $6.

Here are the things Sue is asking for, including dinner specials that are healthy and easy to make. That’s a crucial factor for families, especially those with single mothers and those whose adults work two or three jobs, to keep up.

The news is an awful distraction, but so is hunger and poverty.

While we may not be able to provide the Pantry with everything it needs, our contributions of out of stock and much wanted items are significant. These are items the pantry can’t afford to buy, and our support makes a real difference.
