Flower Art And Sculpture: In Honor Of My Mansion Meditation Class And The Wonderful Aides I Have Met There And The Friends I Have Lost

by Jon Katz

I am signing off, a kind of down day, productive and busy. It’s very hot here, and I’m done for the night. Going to start on a new Walter Mosely mystery. I’m kind of low tonight. I’m grateful to the Bee Balm, I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of them. Each one of them is a sculpture of its own. Floral sculpture.

  1. I found these 5 photos to be exquisitely lovely. The first 4 are so beautiful, but I must have been sensing your sadness about whatever is happening at the Mansion because as I was looking at each one I felt a sadness. That probably doesn’t make sense to you but I wanted to try to explain my surprising feeling. Then the last one breathed the word, “Hope” to me. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts.

  2. I often revisit your flower photos . I never want to be redundant and comment on each and every one , and run out of ways to word my awe and appreciation. I was surprised and grateful that Barbara recorded my exact feelings for this post. Deeply thankful to you both.
