The Cambridge Pantry needs coffee and grated Parmesan Cheese. They are out of both, says Sarah.
These supplies are essential for pantry expectations, and your help in replenishing them is greatly appreciated. The picture above is the first of several boxes of potatoes that were returned to the shelves last week.
The Army of Good sent these.
Everyone at the pantry has told me, “We are blessed to have your Army of Good helping us.” This made me want to cry. I love seeing the blog used for good and not for spreading anger and division.
You can donate Sarah’s choices here:
Seattle’s Best Coffee Alley Blend Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 12 Ounce Bags (Pack Of 3), $17.94.
Happy Belly Grated Parmesan Cheese Shaker, 8 Oz., $2.96.
Introducing a new addition to the list, something I asked Sarah to put on. She agreed: single bottles of Lemonade. This refreshing drink has become a summer favorite among children and is in high demand.
Several members of the Army of Good have also requested its inclusion.
It is inexpensive but highly valued if you are young.
I’m on a personal push for Lemonade. I share people’s bug about it.
Everyone understands the appeal of Lemonade in the summer. At only $3.37 a bottle, I’m sending seven or eight.
I’d love to flood the pantry with Lemonade, a love-you message to the children who come there with their families seeking food and drink, and a symbol for a worried world.
You can get some here:
365 by Whole Foods Markets, Organic Lemonade, 64 Fl Oz, $3.37 per bottle.
Sarah turned a tired, musty room into a warm, bright place with carpeting and new lights. People appreciate it.
Sign On The Pantry Wall. The Pantry building has an old and rich history of doing good.
what a perfect sign on the Pantry wall! Love it! So true! I wish I could contribute more to Pantry…….have done my small part of late…..but also contribute here to our local pantry …..so unable to do more….but as is always the case…one small thing can do SO much good no matter where! And love the Zip/Zinnia photo Maria took! Priceless beyond belief. Zip is definitely an extraordinary feline companion!
