I doubt that my daughter, who is very humble about her gifts, understands what a brilliant photographer she is. Her series of photographs of her daughter and my granddaughter Robin are a magnificent study of growing up, of the joy and loneliness of childhood, of the beauty of the uncorrupted or not yet disenchanted spirit.

Her composition and sense of style are amazing; I am learning from her. She, Robin, and Jay are on vacation for a couple of weeks, and I look forward to some of the wonderful captures of Robin growing up.
