The sun peeked out, then fled. I had an excellent meditation class at the Mansion (more later). Stay tuned. Thanks for your kind words about my flowers. The morning rushed past me. More to come.
So far, this woodpecker is my favorite bird (next to Red Cardinals…
Zip chased Zinnia off the porch; Zinnia returned and touched their noses, making peace.
I’m hooked on these bird photos and learning how to do it. I love seeing them in flight. Finches fight for spots at the feeder; they are not generous birds.
Zip chewing on a dried-up garden stem (yes, I know about poison flowers and plants)
Breakfast, more snow last night, more mud now.
That is Zip, not Bud.
Do you really think I donβt know that? Get used to it. It happens all the time.
Beautiful photos, hope the sun comes out soon!π
Love the House Finch in flight, great timing π
B…….y hell. Do they ever stop criticizing? What absolutely boring lives they must have. Perhaps those who keep on like this should go out and smell the roses?!?
Each photo in its own way is so life affirming
I sympathize, Jon. I often go through a couple of names before I get the right one for one of my four siblings. Also I get the names of my two golden retrievers mixed up every so often.
I love your photos of the birds at the feeder, and male cardinals hold a special place in my heart. Every time I see one, it reminds me of my late husband.
Thank you so much for enriching my life with your animal, bird, and flower photos.
Great job catching the bird in flight. Thank you for sharing. Maria is always hard at work.
