The First Pansy, The First Begonia, Dog Love. I’ll Plant Both These Flowers In My Garden In May

by Jon Katz

Today, I stopped at a nursery and got my first Pansy and Begonia. I’m excited to jump on the planting season; I can plant these flowers and my Calla Lily in my raised garden bed in May.

In the meantime, we’ve got them in pots, getting warmth, sunshine, and water. I’m thinking I’ll plant plants rather than seeds. I love to be able to grow them.

We’re heading to the Williamstown Museum this afternoon for a dose of art and some good Mexican food. More later.

My first begonia of 2024. We’re off to a good start.

I admire the hardy and beautiful Panay. They bring light and color early.

Dogs can’t clean their air, so dog friends help other dog friends by helping to clean their ears. Zinnia takes good care of Bud, her pal. She loves to do some grooming, and Bud loves to be groomed.
