Brighten Your Day: A Magical Post-It And Three Flowers To Warm A Body Up

by Jon Katz

I call it my magical post-it. Since I put it up on my computer (Maria made it), all of the spelling police, creepy division) have vanished, seeking other victims.

I like it; it not only reminds me to spell Calla correctly, but it reminds me that Dyslexia is nothing to be ashamed of, and good people have no trouble dealing with it.

That is good to know and inspiring. Only jerks get off on shaming people, and only pidiots let them; my Post-it is scaring them away, along with blog readers. Compassion and empathy live. More later.

My rose is dying but still beautiful. I wanted to say goodbye.

My Calla Lilies are more beautiful each time I look at them.

  1. Jon, someone has planted Calla lillies on a side walk green space (CONDOS) here in Santa Monica (usually tons of Birds of Paradise) the green space is not fenced and the lillies are beautiful. I have been noticing them more and looking closely since your interest in them. the Federal Building in Westwood has blankets and blankets of in-full-bloom California poppies. The Calla lillies are in full bloom – well, here, year-round always tons of flowers and flowering shrubbery. The recent rains have brought everything up and blooming. My favorite is the oleander but it is very poisonous. Oh, and the amarylis.
