Tomorrow is the Mansion Meditation Class. Maria is coming, and I hope to share some Deep Breathing videos that are believed to help with anxiety and anger. Another tool for the spiritual life is learning to be calm and at peace.
Another brutal storm is moving through the country. Color and light may help. We’ve had two severe power outages so far, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see another one this weekend. Stay dry, warm, and safe. See you in the morning.
“The question is a simple one. What kind of life have you always dreamed of living? When you know that, buy it one little piece at a time.” – Joan Chittister.
I recently took a class at my local library on sound meditation where the woman used crystal bowls to make sounds that felt like they made my bones vibrate. I dropped into a deep sleep and snored, which woke me up several times.
Here’s a video showing what it sounds like https://www.youtube.com/live/Zz85pOejGGs?si=TMZU9j_OKYgIDO3K

I am always so appreciative after I read your blog daily. However, to put in sports language – YOU HIT IT OFF THE PARK with your Joan Chittister quote. I paused, thought about it and said it is brilliant, timely and shall be my new response when I am asked how am I? For years I have always said “I have no reason to complain” and I do believe that, however, that will be my backup response.
