I saw Maria taking the day’s Bailing twine and tying it to the pasture gate, and I realized she was creating a new work out of the bailing twine that keeps our hay together in the barn. She has done this with several chairs and other sculptural pieces. Nothing is wasted here; I’ll enjoy seeing the bailing twine art grow. Come along with me. Zip is overseeing the work.
I don’t know where Maria is taking this new artwork; it will be fun to see where she goes with it. Around here, art is everywhere. We are a living museum of meaning and images.
The pants Isaiah is making for his grandmother brought a broad smile to my face.
I see a few familiar knots used in macrame! Can’t wait to see the “end” projects.
