Maria’s very beautiful new quilt, Dancing With The Dragon Flies, went up for sale yesterday on her website; if anyone would like to buy it, you can buy it from her this morning or on her Etsy page later today. This is a highly original quilt built from beautiful vintage discarded fabrics given to her over the past few years.

Maria took a dozen different vintage fabrics and turned them into one beautiful quilt.

The quilt costs $450 plus shipping.  You can see the size from the photo, it’s about 90 by 70 inches. It is one of her most beautiful creations, which is saying a lot. It’s a joy to me to see her personal and artistic growth. Her notes from the woods almost had me in tears. Move over, Thomas Merton.

The sky this morning was so beautiful I sat outside with Zip and just looked at the colors—a photo painting.
