Maria is on fire. She just finished her newest and one of her most fascinating quilts; it costs $450 and is called Dancing With The Dragon Flies; it is made with a mix of different fabrics from different times, all gorgeous pieces of our history, as the video below shows.
This quilt, made from a dozen different kinds of fabrics scanning a lot of time, is about 75 by 90 inches. It costs $450 plus shipping.
Maria would like to sell it herself, but she’ll put it up on her Etsy if it doesn’t sell. For now, people interested in buying the quilt should contact her directly at maria@fullmoonfiberart. Her blog, where you can see the quilt and read more about it, is fullmoonfiberart.com.
She invited me into see the video today and make a video where she talks about what went into it and what it means to her. I’m not unbiased, but she is on a roll, and this is one of her most original and beautiful works. We have a great time making videos together, but this blog and this video are unique. Buy it or not, but take a look; you won’t regret it. I am embarrassingly proud of her.
I just love these videos…seeing Maria so happy about her creations, and explaining her work! Her studio is just glowing in the snow!
I always love seeing someone else’s work area where they create their quilts. It never ceases to amaze me how a quilt resembles the creator and how the work space resemble the owner. Beautiful quilt, beautiful she shed😊 thank you so much for sharing a part of your life with us.
God bless
