Zinnia, a dog with a huge heart, befriended Bud from the first day he came; the two are inseparable, and their friendship is touching and beautiful. Zinnia taught
Bud, a battered and sick rescue dog, how to live safely and happily at the farm and in our family. The two are always together, touching heads and playing and just being. It’s a beautiful friendship and a testament to Zinnia’s big heart. It took Bud a year or so to trust us, it took Zinnia just a few seconds to befriend Bud and teach him how to live.
Animals are amazing. We are so blessed by their presence, their sweet generous souls. They provide calm and love in this often disturbing world we live in today.
Dogs are magnificent creatures with an unlimited ability to love and forgive.
We have a rescue dog also and just yesterday when we had our first snowfall, he was able to finally “play” with our other two dogs. He’s been with us since April! He’s learning how to be a real dog. He spent his whole life, three years, in a cage. Now he spends his days on the couch catching up on getting loved!!
