I haven’t been able to shadow Zip all week; I was too wobbly. I didn’t dare take the Leica out, frightened of stumbling and dropping it. And honestly, I am just too wiped out to post it tonight. You could drop a brick on the iPhone, which wouldn’t hurt. The Leica is also heavy and protected, but I don’t have $8,000 to replace it. Today I took a deep breath and took the Leica out.

It was fine. The result will be two shows tomorrow: one of Zip conquering our farm and the other of flowers, beautiful even as they prepare to say goodbye. I hope to see you in the morning.
