For the past few weeks, I’ve been excited about the next step in my photography – 3D photos of the pictures of flowers and animals and some of my portraits. Apple is making a lot of noise about its new iOS operating system, and they are posting an ad about turning regular photos into 3D images in just minutes thanks to the new system. That would be a tremendous leap for me.
I’m not sure yet how this will work or how much money it will cost. But I’m always eager to re-imagine the blog and expand my creativity. Just a couple of months ago, converting regular photography into 3D would take weeks. Now, it might be possible to do it in minutes. This would be a significant step forward for my photo work and Maria’s nature images.
I’m talking to Mannix, my Web designer, about it and also planning to work with the brilliant Andrew, an Apple specialist, at MacNurse. This may take a while to figure out and might be too expensive. I don’t know.
I’m always eager to make the blog more exciting and my photos more interesting.
But I can do it if I get the right technical help. Imagine flower photographs and animal portraits (or Zip) in 3D; I will work hard to make it happen. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Another thing I respect about you, Jon – you totally embrace new technology, no grousing about it, no moaning and groaning! And when you can’t figure it out yourself, you ask for help. I can’t wait to see the 3d images!!!!
Thanks I’m excited about it.
