After Fog, Sun. Both Are Beautiful: : Bedlam Farm Journal, Thursday, September 21, 2023

by Jon Katz

I woke up sneezing around 3 a.m. I had a wicked allergy attack, no doubt caused by all the rain and plant growth around the farm. I’ve never had an allergy as severe as this; I can’t stop sneezing. Tonight, I’m planning to get back to the bedroom. I’ve had enough of trying to sleep downstairs. My back is much better, and my head isn’t dizzy if I can sit up a bit. I need to get some sleep this afternoon. Another space to cross; I’ll get through it, though I’m groggy.

During the night, I got deep into the first of my women’s book festival fiction – a spy story by Ava Glass, The Traitor. I’m hooked.

More later. I’ll visit with Zip, check the mailbox, and replenish our Little Library. I gook my one Claritin pill this morning; maybe it will dry me out a bit. More later. These photos are from the fog this morning and the sun coming out. I’m grateful for the chance to take these pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
