The sun returned with glory this morning after a day of rain, cold, and wind. The blue skies also turn out, reminding me how lucky I am to be alive.
I’m heading to Dr. Daly, my podiatrist surgeon, this morning for a checkup on my foot; this is the only appointment I’m keeping this week. Tonight, I plan to return to my bed upstairs. It’s time, I believe.
We had a sweet time with Zip this morning. Maria came up with a Zip Song, which I recorded, and Zinnia and Zip did some bonding. He and I did some as well—pictures and video to follow.
This will be a special week on Bedlam Farm – my recovery is edging closer, Zip will be liberated, and I’ll start walking again if I can.
Come and share the return of the sun. It’s free and calming, I think. One visitor said there is a magical quality to our farm. I felt it this morning.
