Flowers In The Rain: A Beautiful Journey. Come And See Their Haunting Beauty. Rain Can Be Inspiring.

by Jon Katz

The thing about flowers is that they are beautiful from beginning to end. When they bloom, when they fade, when they die. They always seem beautiful to me, but there is something special about them in the rain. They suggest beauty, grace, nourishment, and endurance to me.

I’m feeling good this morning, I actually slept for a few hours last night, it feels nice.

When I woke up this morning, I saw it raining heavily (more to come this week), and I went outside to look for raindrops. I found many more beautiful than I imagined. This afternoon, a visit to the dentist. I have some pain in my jaw, I can’t tell if it’s from my brain incident or a deteriorating filling.

Above are new flowers I got the other day from Judy Page; they are thriving in my garden bed.

Flowers hold raindrops for a long time, I never know if they are completely absorbed or are waiting until the sun comes out.

Sometimes the rains are so heavy they crush and destroy the petals. Last night the rain seemed gentle, enhancing the color and the beauty.

The tiny flowers, as I call them, are having their moment, they are beautiful in a new and different way.
