It didn’t take long for Zip and Maria to fall for one another. She had him purring this morning, scratching his ears, talking to him, and rubbing his belly when he rolled over for her. He took cat treats from Maria and me.

He even approached us for more attention; he’s a sweetie. He wants to come out of his crate, but not yet, for at least a week and maybe more. He’s nice for a barn cat and sweet. The howling storm didn’t seem to bother him at all.
We’ve seen that a week in the crate should be long enough for him to be confined. He’s a quick learner and seems comfortable around us and Zinnia, who has befriended him, as expected.
Fate came over to sniff his crate, but she was uninterested and went away. One day in, we love this cat. He’s perfect for us and the farm, and we are committed to giving him the best possible life.
I can’t wait for him to get out and roam; he’s dying to do it, and I suspect he will be happy her. He has already seduced Maria, the Queen of the farm, and he’s working on me. He’s a charmer.
