Two Monday Morning Flowers. The Sunrise Flower Check. Flower Beauty, Sex And Color

by Jon Katz

Every morning, I go outside after sunrise and pick two or three flowers I can’t help but share. They say that flowers are sexual, and it’s true that they are always having sex and procreating. I am discovering the truth and wondering about this. Flowers have always had a sensual pull; they appear in all of them, and sensuality is a part of a flower’s soul. Just ask the Hummingberds.

Flowering plants reproduce sexually through a process called pollination. Flowers contain male sex organs called stamens and female sex organs called pistils. The anther is the part of the stamen that contains pollen. Pollen contains the male gametes. Insects and bees transfer the pollen.
