My blog’s new motto and purpose is “Creativity And Gentle Warmth.”

“Gentle Warmth” was a goal suggested by a blog reader, encouraging me to be softer in my interactions with the outside world.

It was good advice, and I’m trying to take it. Gentle Warmth is not easy to define, but when I looked at this photograph of one of my flowers, I thought, “This is it; this is what it looks like.”

This is a beautiful kind of gentle Warmth to begin a weekend; it speaks to my soul and heart and softens both.

My flowers are showing me the way.
