Minne perked up and ate some food yesterday but slid down rapidly today. She can no longer lift her head or eat solid food. She doesn’t seem to know me or Maria. She is mainly on the front porch and sometimes manages to get under it. I believe she is failing rapidly.

Thank you for respecting Minnie’s journey. She clearly is living her last days as she wants, where she wants, and taking her somewhere to have that hastened would be more difficult than letting her control her own end. I have never had to have a cat put down – although we have known it was coming, they have always taken it upon themselves to find somewhere private for their last moment and we have never found them. They all same that way, as mysteries, or the children of mysteries, and went out that way as well, as we all should perhaps.
