Minnie barely moved yesterday and wouldn’t eat. When we drove into town this morning, we had a pleasant surprise when we returned. Minnie had moved off the porch back to her old haunt, the backyard. She also had two helpings of moist cat food. And she loved having her neck and belly scratched.

She is clearly very ill, but our vet Suzanna says barn cats often go up and down when they are sick. She gets several meals a day whether she eats them or not. As long as she wants to eat, she can.
