I called Zinnia out in the back, and she didn’t respond.
That is unlike her; she is always by my side or nearby and is faithfully obedient.
It didn’t take me long to figure out where she must be. I approached the front porch and found her sitting next to Minnie.
She would give Minnie a lick on the way out the door every morning. Minnie loved it—two animals with big hearts and gentle souls.
When I called Zinnia to come, she came forward, stopped, leaned over, and gave Minnie a touch on the nose that seemed to last a long time.
Minnie responded to her, but I don’t know what was said.
The animals always know first. Minnie has gone into her cat house. She did have some dinner.
This photo…so touching. Animals are really something. 💜
That is truly wonderful on both their parts.
That’s a beautiful photo. The love is obvious.
beautiful and touching photo……..Zinnia knows……and is responding…….and so is Minnie. A small tear shed here at this photo…….it’s sublime
