I saw this footprint of Maria’s on our slate this morning, and it told the entire story of my adventures with my left foot. My print on the left foot should have warned me. It is flat on the ground, with no arch like the one visible in Maria’s left foot.
My flat foot collapsed, and I’m happy to say my new brace works well. I’ll be out with Zinnia stomping up and down hills if it ever cools off. This footprint is excessive. It tells a lot. I can’t recall ever having an arch like that on my left foot.
I noticed that when I was younger but did nothing about it. I didn’t think there was anything that could be done about it. There’s a point in life where you don’t want to know and a point where you really want and need to know.
Maria has excellent feet. She can climb on rooftops, even up trees, with confidence.
